Our Editorial Team
The NRG4Cycling editorial team brings together editors, reporters, reviewers, and fact-checkers dedicated to authoritative cycling coverage. Led by an Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor, our desks span Road, Off-Road, Tech & Reviews, Training & Health, and Features, supported by a photo/data desk and an internal fact-checking unit.
Editorial Line
We publish independent, evidence-led journalism on cycling news, performance, culture, and technology. Reviews are based on structured testing and disclosed methodologies; training content is authored or reviewed by qualified specialists. Opinion is clearly signposted and kept separate from news reporting.
Journalistic Values
Our work prioritises accuracy, fairness, and transparency. Claims are verified with reliable sources, quotations are attributed, and context is preserved. Errors are corrected promptly with clear notes. Commercial arrangements never dictate editorial decisions; sponsored content is clearly labelled.
Ethics and Deontology
We uphold the principles of the UK Editors’ Code of Practice and the NUJ Code of Conduct. We avoid conflicts of interest, disclose test samples, and decline gifts beyond nominal value. Editorial and advertising functions are separated. We protect confidential sources, respect privacy and the presumption of innocence, and handle personal data in line with UK GDPR.
