Fabio Aru, In His NEW Limar Ultralight Takes Yellow!!
It was a day of celebration here at NRG4Cycling and at Limar headquarters in Italy, as Sardinia's Fabio Aru overcame an 18 second gap to Chris Froome to take over the lead of Le Tour De France, Aru kept pace with Froome all the way up the final Climb, until the brutal gradients of 20% plus kicked in on the rise to Peyragudes, where Aru jumped away from a clearly struggling Froome, to finish 2nd behind Romain Bardet and open up a 6 second gap at the top of the standings!
What made the feat even more impressive was both Aru and Froome had to recover from a very near miss with some supporters caravans coming off a tight corner at the bottom of a descent!
Aru was left to tackle the rest of the climb without any team mates, with his main "super domestique" Jakob Fuglsang suffering with fractures to his hand and elbow following crashes the previous day and losing time on the final climbs of the day.
We all know it will be a tough ask to hold the jersey, but we know Fabio and Astana have the best tools at there disposal to give it a really good shot!
From all of us at NRG4 cycling, FORZA FABIO!!!!!!
